2. Students vs Pandemics

Students vs Pandemics is at many universities, including Princeton University, Harvard University, University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine, Middlebury College, University of California San Diego School of Medicine and many more.

Students vs Pandemics is a catalyst network solving time-sensitive humanitarian crises by empowering rising leaders and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration. They are a group of grad and undergrad students working to improve transparency and communication, build community, and identify needs and innovate solutions. They do so by sharing health education material, resources for students, and opportunities to serve our greater community, write policy memos for state legislators, organization donation drives, and launch other initiatives.

Founded at Harvard, SvP gained over 100 members within a week of its launch and has now tripled that as we build a movement at universities across the nation.

3. COVID-19 Health Literacy Project

COVID-19 Health Literacy Project is a Harvard Health Publishing collaboration.

4. The National Student Response Network (NSRN)

The National Student Response Network (NSRN) aims to field the volunteer needs of hospitals and public health departments and match them with nearby health professions students who are eager to help their communities. NSRN has almost 6,000 health professions student volunteers which include medical, nursing and physician assistant students in all 50 U.S. states! The thousands of health professions students that have been sent home from their institutions can be a great resource to support their communities. NSRN is mobilizing our growing network of students in a way that is both impactful, and appropriate, to do just that. Link to NSRN Volunteer Sign up!
