George Jeremiah is presently a 6th year medical student at the Faculty of health sciences, Egerton University (Kenya). He is the vice-president of the Students Surgical Forum-Kenya (SSF-Kenya), a student-run organization championing for surgical skills exposure of medical students in Kenya. He is the immediate former president of Medical Students Associations of Kenya (MSAKE), a part of International Federation of Medical Student’s Association (IFMSA), founded in 1951, one of the world’s oldest and largest student-run organizations. He is a research enthusiast and currently working on the literacy levels and type of first-aid measures given to pediatric burnt patients by caregivers. He is an aspiring cardio-thoracic surgeon. In his spare time, he loves playing chess and riding bicycle.
